Izzy's Story

I’m a 1st year Primary Education student, and for the last year I’ve had the privilege of chairing the student council. This exists to ensure that students across all of the campuses are represented, can have their voice heard, and have a say in the issues that face them. My role has been to host the meetings, collect in the reports, and make sure everyone has the chance to share. In our latest meeting, we had the opportunity to sort through the tutor nominations and select which ones we thought were most impressive. This photo was taken just before I left for the awards night, which was wonderfully hosted by Storyhouse, and presented by the University’s (Chester Students’ Union) Vice President (Education), Sophie Bell. It was a fantastic night!
