By choosing the University of Chester as your Firm or Insurance choice, you’ve taken the first steps towards your University adventure. To help you prepare for September, we’ve put together a useful checklist of things to consider over the coming months.

Going to university is a big decision, so it’s okay if you haven’t yet made up your mind about where you want to go. If you have any questions about the University of Chester, there are a number of ways in which you can find out a little more about what we have to offer.

As a Geography student at the University of Chester, there are plenty of opportunities to discover the social and physical landscape both here in the UK and overseas.

Not just content with providing a wide range of fieldwork opportunities as part of the course, we also offer optional trips to help you get the most out of your geography experience. So if you’re a geography student wanting to get involved in overseas projects with major companies and charities, then you’re in luck!    

Formerly a bank and historic army Western Command headquarters during the Second World War, Churchill House and Bridge House at our Queen's Park Campus in Chester are a fitting site for Chester Business School students, training to be the strategic decision makers and managers of the future.  

Our new Banking and Business Finance course will be taught at the University of Chester Business School, based at our iconic Churchill House building on Queen’s Park Campus. Churchill House is formerly a bank, and so if you are a banking student you should certainly feel at home here. 

If you like physics, then we think you’ll enjoy studying in the Department of Natural Sciences where you can take a course in Physics with Materials Science, or follow the Physical Sciences pathway of the Natural Sciences degree. Located at our state-of-the-art Thornton Science Park, where you'll have modern industry-stand

One of the great things about studying Physical Education at Chester is the range of sports and activities to get involved with; whether that’s inside or outside the classroom. If you’ve selected the University of Chester as either your Firm or Insurance choice, you might be wondering about the process for applying for accommodation. Well, applications for University owned and partnership accommodation are now open. You should soon be receiving information through the post about our online application process, and as soon as you’ve received this, you can then start to apply online.
