Our commercial sites have many businesses located on them. Keeping each other safe whilst ensuring our commercial sites remain operational is our priority in the commercial operations team. The team have worked tirelessly alongside other colleagues from across the University to maintain a safe working environment, ensuring all the latest national and local guidelines are adhered to. Connecting your business with the Commonwealth

Sustainable Growth Bootcamp: Big Impact, Small Footprint
20th, 22nd, 27th, 29th, April and 4th, 6th May, 14:00 – 16:00

Designed for businesses or entrepreneurs who are keen to grow their business in a way which minimises negative environmental impact and maximises positive social and economic impact. Suitable for pre-starts and trading businesses across all sectors. Attendees leave this workshop with a deeper understanding of the opportunities and challenges of truly sustainable growth, and a plan for how they want to include sustainability (in all its forms) as part of their future strategy planning and operational management.

Brand Thinking & Design (Services)
Monday 19th April, 9.30am – 12.30pm.
Delivered by: DCP
Attendees will leave the workshop with a clear understanding of why building a brand is more valuable than building a business, the role of brand guardian and how to successfully manage your brand and create brand guidelines/stylesheets. You should be able to make a start on your brand story, or review what you currently have through fresh eyes and build upon it.

How to Adapt and Manage Your Facebook Page to Attract More Business
11th-14th May, 11.30am-12.30pm.

By the end of the week you will have an updated Facebook page that will appeal to your ideal client, rank high in the Facebook searches and a clear understanding of how to create engagement with your potential customers.

Social Enterprise 3rd Sector Bootcamp: Maximising Performance & Impact
This bootcamp will be delivered over eight 2-hour sessions during May & June and will take place on Tuesdays (10:00 - 12:00) and Thursdays (14:00 - 16:00) on the following dates: 18th, 20th, 25th, 27th May & 1st, 3rd, 8th, 10th June.
Attendees must be able to attend 6 of the 8 sessions to be eligible.

Aimed at Senior Leaders of established social enterprises and charities, the bootcamp is designed to enable organisations to better measure their impact, deliver their services more effectively and become more sustainable thereby increasing their future value to society. Start-ups with a good understanding of business may also be suitable.
