Our commercial sites have many businesses located on them. Keeping each other safe whilst ensuring our commercial sites remain operational is our priority in the commercial operations team. The team have worked tirelessly alongside other colleagues from across the University to maintain a safe working environment, ensuring all the latest national and local guidelines are adhered to. Workshop: Understanding & Creating Financial Accounts

The workshop initially examines attendees’ understanding of financial accounts and builds on these skills, giving business leaders the confidence to oversee or manage financial performance. Understanding your accounts is crucial to increasing your business’ resilience to change, which is important now more than ever with Covid-19 and Brexit heavily impacting our economy and society. The workshop is aimed at owners and directors of businesses within the early years of growth, without an in-house finance team. It will cover some of the basics and go more into depth where attendees need it.

This online Business Bootcamp provides an ideal opportunity to reflect, reframe and reinvent. Designed for SME’s and Sole Traders across all sectors, who are new to business (trading less than 12 months). Perfect as well as for any person considering starting a new business instead of or alongside their current employment. Split into manageable twice-weekly 2-hour workshops spread over a month, you will have the chance to review, plan and action what you have learnt between sessions allowing you to really monitor your progress alongside a group of peers.
