Eligibility criteria:
- Completed at least 12 hours of support via the Cheshire and Warrington Business Growth Programme.
- Have at least one of the following projected outputs: job creation, new product development or substantial increase in production capacity and financial growth.
- Be a registered Cheshire business with HMRC and have a business bank account.
- Be able to provide a business plan and sales forecast. A 2-year cashflow forecast is also required for grants over £5k. See the below resources to help with these.
- Have the ability to fund 100% of the costs initially. This is a 50% funded grant which is paid to the business on receipt of consultancy/equipment purchase.
- We cannot support retail businesses unless they produce/manufacture/brand their own products or sell more than 50% into other business.
Example projects:
- Up to £1k grant (£2k project) – new website and/or marketing collateral development for start-ups and businesses developing new products*
- Up to £5k grant (£10k project) – new product development consultancy or marketing consultancy**
- Up to £15k grant (£30k project) – equipment/machinery purchase for new product development or to increase production capacity
*cannot fund e-commerce pages of websites, but might be able to fund the rest.
**could include paid advertising and marketing campaigns, but must be within a packaged marketing consultancy project, rather than a standalone campaign.
