If you’re interested in part-time work, and have time outside of your academic studies, we have a range of vacancies with local and national employers through our central online CareerHub access point. Working part-time can be a great way to earn money whilst studying and also to gain useful skills that will enhance your employability after you graduate.

We also offer an on-campus job bank, UniJob, a vacancy service run by Careers & Employability. UniJob advertises paid positions at the university for University of Chester students who have successfully gained a place on the UniJob Bank.

We also run the Chester Internship Programme, in partnership with Santander Universities and several local employers. Gaining significant periods of work experience, from 2-10 weeks, is a great way to show a future employer that you really understand a job and that you've gained some practical experience. These paid internships are part-time during term time and full-time during vacation periods, meaning that you'll be able to balance your studies while getting a head start on your career.
