We have a number of faith societies including an Islamic Society, Christian Union, Catholic Society (CathSoc) and a new Indian Society. Our Students' Union faith societies work alongside our chaplaincy team to raise awareness of the faith needs of students, to improve student support, to celebrate festivals and practise faith together and to promote understanding across faiths and different cultures.
In 2021 Chaplaincy began a new inter-faith initiative, with four students working with Chaplaincy as our Inter-faith Advocates. They made an important contribution to our inter-faith work and we hope to be working with Advocates again soon. Watch this space for more news!
