The Chaplaincy staff and community are here for all members of the University, whether student or staff, those of all faiths and none.  The Chaplaincy teams are here to help and listen to any concerns you may have.  They can support you in various ways.

Here in Chaplaincy we hold a wide range of activities for all members of the community, including off-campus trips and retreats; we support the work of the Christian Union and CathSoc by facilitating a relaxed social environment, and with all we do there is always lots of tea, coffee and food.

Communal Spaces

We have communal spaces where you can relax and socialise: Longfield House, Parkgate Road Campus and the Chaplaincy Space on the ground floor of Aiken Hall, Warrington Campus.

There are also multifaith spaces and quiet gardens available on our campuses.

Friendship and building community are central to what we do, and all are welcome, regardless of whether you have a faith or not.

“Chaplaincy is a place where Friendships are formed and nurtured through Learning more about God, ourselves and others, where Worship, both individual and corporate, inspires our participation in God’s life and Mission”, Chaplaincy motto.
