  • Directors experience: 16 years as a company Director, MD and Company Secretary of High Sheriff of Cheshire family business of the year 2015.
  • Growth: Built a family business from £450k annual T/O to £8.5M
  • New business: Successfully launched International Recruitment division within the existing family business in 2013, which made £35k GP in the first year, £100k in year 2.
  • Strategy:  Re-launched the family business following a devastating fraud in 2010, with no redundancies and minimal loss to suppliers.

  • I’ve been involved with businesses as wide ranging as a shellfish business in North Wales to a tech start up in Manchester
  • I regularly speak at business events around the North West of England and North Wales

2011-2015            Managing Director of Chester Healthcare Ltd (T/A Jane Lewis)  

  • Successfully re-launched this business following a fraud which led to the administration of NPKA Ltd
  • Led the team which supplied in excess of 5,000 hours of care per week to establishments and care settings throughout the North West of England and Wales. 

2011-2015            Managing Director Chester Professional Services Ltd (T/A Jane Lewis International)

  • Founded International division in 2013 in order to provide a regular supply of highly qualified trained Nurses to UK NHS Trusts.
  • In excess of 500 staff have been successfully placed throughout the UK so far.

2000-2011            Managing Director NPKA Ltd

  • Provision of healthcare staff and care services.
  • Complex care division launched in 2000, now provides support to a range of clients from severely disabled to companionship.
  • NPKA was the subject of a large scale fraud by a trusted employee.

 1990-2000           Partner Jane Lewis Nursing Agency

  • Supplied temporary staff to Hospitals, Nursing Homes and other establishments in North Wales and North West England.
  • In 2000 when our turnover first reached £1m we were advised to form a limited company.
