Earn while you learn through our no-fee Science Industry Process/Plant Engineer Degree Apprenticeships which incorporate our IChemE accredited Chemical Engineering BEng degree.

“It’s a superb opportunity for me. I'm busy but really happy to be learning in both the University and workplace environment. The principles I get from my University studies are reinforced with real-life experience at Unilever, where I work closely with process development engineers, R&D scientists and pilot plant technicians.”Micheal Leary

Course overview

These degree apprenticeships are very competitive. Prospective apprentices must apply directly to participating companies and, if successful, they will be employed directly by the company while they study for a Chemical Engineering BEng degree part-time. Typically this will be an average of 40 days study per year over a 5 year period. The rest of the training occurs in the workplace.
