Research
Research interests
My research occupies a wide range of territories including:
- A collaborative practice that seeks to question the construction of meaning and value within an art object.
- The development of virtual worlds in the broadest possible sense, from the construction of computer generated interactive 3D animated environments to the development of fictional artefacts and communities.
- The adoption of traditional painting and drawing practices that are enhanced and supplemented by the use of computer software.
- The use of seamless interactive video to research the implications of locating images of real people in scenarios where their actions and movements become limited and controlled by an external agency.
Fine Art Interests: I have no specific practice as such but respond to ideas and situations with what I believe to be the most efficient tools to affect an appropriate solution in terms of the making of images, objects and environments.
