About Dr Ian Pownall

 My Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy was secured through working on and leading, a number of faculty and institutionally wide projects. I have also acted as an external examiner and consultant on a number of programme approval events at varying institutions since 2005.


From Foundation Year to Postgraduate Study, I have taught a variety of Business Management modules and topics that have included the following (but are not exclusive to): Business Politics, International Political Economy, Decision Making, Strategic Management, Change Management and Innovation and Entrepreneurship. I have also supervised three PhD students to completion (two as second supervisor and 1 as Lead supervisor).
