Ask me about part-time vacancies, working for the University.

I manage the UniJob service, providing part-time jobs on campus for students who are able to work for a maximum of 15 hours per week during term time and additional hours during vacation periods.

What piece of advice would you give to a Level 6 student about to graduate?

Keep an open mind to job opportunities and undertake as much work experience as possible. 

What piece of advice would you give to a Level 4 student just starting University?

Embrace university life by getting involved in sports and societies.  With over 130 clubs, there’s something for everyone.

What motivates you in your work?

Working with a professional and supportive team. Also, watching students successfully achieve their goals.

How do you relax when not at work?

I enjoy keeping fit, travelling, cooking and spending time with family and friends.

What is your biggest career achievement?

Achieving the NVQ Advice and Guidance qualification and meeting Dame Tammy Gray Thompson, who presented my certificate at Chester Cathedral.

I work with all academic and professional departments throughout the University, supporting recruitment to part-time vacancies.
