I am a recent addition to the Centre for Foundation Studies, where I teach in maths and the physical sciences. The modules I deliver are designed to be engaging and accessible to students from all walks of life, with the aim of building confidence in the topics covered and providing a sound platform from which to progress through higher education.

My work history has been quite varied, although most of it has been spent in the financial services industry and science communication. I decided upon a change of career later in life and went to university as a mature student with a part time job and young family. I’m very familiar with the challenges that having commitments outside of studies can bring, and the rewards of a lifelong learning path.
