About Dr Paul Turner

I am a visiting lecturer at the Centre for Foundation Studies teaching Introduction to Business Entrepreneurship and Introduction to Marketing.

My career record includes executive leadership roles in the financial services sector responsible for customer service and operations, including new product delivery and marketing. A move into HR and people management was followed by my current business role as a self-employed entrepreneur in the role of business and leadership consultant and coach, having to date worked with approximately 150 global corporations and over 5,000 managers.

At the same time as progressing my entrepreneurial role I have forged an academic career gaining a PhD in organisational change and development and now undertake research and publish academic and business papers on key leadership areas. I have lectured for 12 universities globally, including Eastern Europe and China, as a visiting lecturer and currently operate as an Advisory Board Member in the UK higher education sector.

I am inspired by and greatly value working alongside students who are on their own individual learning journeys and continue to seek ways to build their interest, enjoyment and learning in both business theory and practical applications.
