After obtaining a degree in biology, I worked in clinical research for the pharmaceutical industry. I came to teaching later in life and understand the challenges adults face when returning to education.

I firmly believe in the transformative power of education for learners of all ages. I have a wide range of experience in teaching adult learners in a range of settings and levels and have a particular interest in teaching methods that apply scientific principles to everyday situations.
