Debbie has also worked to develop a start up Social Enterprise in the fields of mediation, counselling and training and in this role obtained extensive experience of working with second and third sector partners including local councils, health authorities and charities. While working for this organisation she was involved in considerable research in the areas of community cohesion and supporting families living in disadvantaged areas.

With a strong interest in providing effective and relevant teaching opportunities and a track record of success in Higher Education, Debbie is looking forward to helping many more students at Chester University achieve their potential.
