About Luke Pearson
Upon completing a BSc in Business Management (2:1) at the University of Chester, Luke continued his journey with the department, completing his MSc in Business Management in 2019 and gaining a distinction. Pursuing his passion for academia, Luke decided to embark upon a PhD programme at the University of Chester, whilst also working within the Business Management department as a visiting lecturer and learning facilitator. As part of the visiting lecturer role, Luke teaches on a variety of Undergraduate modules, including; Strategic Management, Work-based Learning, Human Resource Management and Operational Decision Making. Here, Luke is responsible for ensuring engaging lectures are planned and delivered to students and assisting them with out-of-hours support. Alongside his Undergraduate teaching, Luke also delivers and provides support to Postgraduate Students, specifically on the Understanding and Managing People module.

Research
Upon completing a BSc in Business Management at the University of Chester, Luke continued his journey with the department, completing his MSc in Business Management in 2019. Pursuing his passion for academia, Luke has decided to embark upon a PhD programme at the University of Chester, focusing on leadership and worker cooperatives, whilst also working within the Business Management department as a full-time lecturer. Luke teaches and supports several modules on both undergraduate and postgraduate and is a member of the Venture team.
