About Prof Khaled Albouaini
Professor Albouaini's area of practice is hospital cardiology. He is a Consultant Cardiologist and Cath Lab Director at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital and Consultant Cardiologist at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital. Outside of work he enjoys cycling and hiking and has attended the Liverpool Heart & Chest Hospital mountain yearly charity hike for the last 10 years.
Teaching
Professor Albouaini has teaching experience in undergraduate and postgraduate education. He is the founder of an education page ‘Cardiology Cases – UK’ (www.facebook.com/Professor.Khaled.Albouaini) which is now the largest of its kind in the world. He is also the Director of 4 national courses: ECG, hands-on pacing course, cardiac catheterisation and the acute cardiology course.
