About Jeanette Bailie

After gaining her B.Ed (Hons) from Liverpool Hope University in 1990, she started teaching  children in Nursery, Reception and Year 1 for eight years before moving to work with children who had multi-sensory impairment.

Jeanette undertook roles as Curriculum Co-ordinator for Physical Education and Mathematics before moving into teaching students in Further and Higher Education, on the CACHE Level 3 DCE programme and HNC/D in Early Childhood Studies. She was Programme Leader for the Foundation Degree in Early Years Practice for 8 years.

Jeanette gained her Post Graduate Certificate in Childhood Studies from Liverpool John Moores University in 2005 and  MA in Education in 2008. She is currently undertaking an MSc in Psychology and plans to commence her Doctorate studies in the near future. Jeanette is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
