I have enjoyed working at the University since 2014 within the Primary Maths Team and currently have the responsibility of being the PGCE Primary Programme Lead.

Before working at the university I worked in two large primary schools, one on the Wirral and one in Chester. I was also a consultant for the Local Education Authority.

My main academic research revolves around how people perceive maths – my mission is to help anyone who comes on the course to enjoy teaching the subject!

Outside of work I enjoy trying to run and playing in a brass band.
