Teaching
I teach across the whole of the pre-registration programme, which includes the new nursing curriculum.
I input nutrition and wound care alongside skills and public health to name a few.
I have taught post registration tissue viability and dermatology modules. I am currently inputting into the foundation nursing phase and the BA health and social care course.
I teach and mark across level 4- level 7 and I am a Masters dissertation supervisor.
Research
I have a keen interest in public health, nutrition, wounds and nursing.
I am also keen to review nutrition in the older elderly population and I am currently choosing a topic for my PHD linking nursing and nutrition.
Published Work
Currently editing my dissertation study on childhood obesity and the impact of packed lunch boxes. This was a qualitative study and reviewed the views of parents.
