About Caroline Ford

Caroline started her career in the TV Industry after obtaining a distinction for her MA TV Documentary from the University of Salford.  Caroline made her way up from a Researcher to Producer/ Director, working on a variety of programmes for regional and national broadcasters including ITV and the BBC.

Since joining the University of Chester in 2006, Caroline has taught across a range of modules and programmes, specialising in television production and programme leading MA Television Production and MA Broadcast Media. 

Caroline still enjoys getting behind the camera and has worked on some practice-based projects including producing and directing some short films for Mobility of Objects Across Boundaries (MOB), an interdisciplinary project funded by an AHRC network grant, and a commercial DVD for Super League rugby team, Warrington Wolves.  Caroline was also involved in a BFI 360 filmmaking academy for 16-19 year olds, collaborating with Reel Solutions, Storyhouse in Chester and other colleagues from the University.
