Ian is the Technician/Demonstrator for Journalism programmes and facilitates technical operations on a range of modules. Ian joined the Department in 2007 having previously worked as an IT developer/analyst with former FE experience involved in distance learning and new media technologies.

About Ian Edgington
Before joining the University Ian followed a career in media development where he gained skills in video editing, photo manipulation, sound recording and sequencing, and web-based programming.
Teaching
He has previously taught at FE colleges throughout the North West to HND level. He currently demonstrates equipment and software to all levels at the University.
