Dr Ian Marsh has been a university lecturer in Criminology for many years and recently retired from his position as Principal Lecturer in Criminology at Liverpool Hope University.  During this time, he has written many academic books and articles on crime and criminal justice. His most recent publication was Crime, Justice and the Media (3rd edition published by Routledge in 2019).  He has had various books published by Pearson and Routledge which can be found via Google or other search engines.   

Ian recently turned to writing crime fiction – albeit taking historical cases and updating and adapting them to different periods and has had two crime novels published – Murderer on Your Mark and Gemma Makes Her Mark.
