About Bradley Spurdens

Bradley completed his undergraduate degree in Sports and Exercise Science at the University of Chester. Following this, he attained an MSc with the department in the Sociology of Sport and Exercise. His MSc research focused on sports organisations equality and diversity policies. He is now focusing on completing a PhD on the topic of sports parenting. Bradley’s research interests are broad and cut across topics throughout sport and exercise. Previously these topics have included sports policy, coaching and parenting. He has an affection for all sociological theory and much of his work has sought to understand the way knowledge and power interact across different fields within sport and exercise. He is keen for other students to develop their sociological imaginations and is always ready and eager to help.
