About Claire Mulvenna

Claire is studying for a PhD at the University of Chester that investigates the process of giving performance analysis feedback. In particular, she is focusing on the process of video feedback and how it can be used effectively in the coaching process in soccer.

Claire currently works as an Associate Lecturer on the Undergraduate BA (Hons) Sports Development and Coaching and BSc (Hons) Sports Science and Coaching courses at the University of Bolton. This involves Claire acting as module lead on four coaching focused modules exploring coaching philosophy, the process of coaching and the practicalities of sports coaching.

Prior to working as an Associate Lecturer, Claire spent over 10 years working full time as a football coach and project development officer for organisations such as the Manchester United Foundation, County Football Associations and Sports Development Units in Local Authorities.
