About Heather Johnson

Heather graduated in 2016 from Bath Spa University with a BSc (Hons) Geography degree and went on to complete an MSc in Energy and Sustainable Development at De Montfort University. During University, Heather volunteered with the Royal Geographical Society to be a Geography Ambassador where she visited schools to run themed Geography sessions to encourage more student engagement in the subject. Her interests in sustainability includes looking at behaviour change in terms of turning everyday habits that have a negative environmental impact into habits that have a positive environmental impact (ask Heather about Do Nation). Heather is  interested in transport and her MSc dissertation focused on sustainable transport in Liverpool.    

In her spare time, Heather enjoys spending time with her niece and nephew and knitting dolls for them. Heather also likes to plan weekends away in the UK to visit her friends; her favourite city in the UK to visit with friends is Bath and Bristol. When she isn’t with family or friends, Heather likes to go jogging along the canal and train for half marathons; her aim for next year is to complete her first marathon.
