About Jade Cox
Jade graduated in 2020 from the University of Chester with a First Class BA (Hons) in Geography and International Relations and went on to complete a Secondary Geography PGCE with QTS. She worked as a cover supervisor in a local secondary school, gaining valuable experience working with young people, helping to nurture their natural curiosities about the world in which they live. Jade co-ordinates Chester Youth Climate Action Network, a group of young individuals passionate about encouraging youth involvement in discussions surrounding sustainability. Most recently, Chester Youth CAN hosted the inaugural Green Expo Youth Day.
Jade joined the Sustainability Unit in September 2022 as a Graduate Transport Strategy Officer to develop a travel plan in partnership with Cheshire West and Chester Council that places emphasis on sustainable modes of travel.
In her spare time, Jade enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, supporting Manchester United and playing sports.
