Application
Once you have applied, the team will consider your application and whether we can make you an offer. At this point, we’ll make it clear at which level we are offering you a place and when we anticipate you starting on the course.

Transition
The team will also help you with all the practicalities of moving to a new university: getting your accommodation sorted; organising a personalised induction programme for you; checking whether you have any welfare requirements; etc. This should help take some of the stress out of your switch to the University.

Study plan
We'll also formulate a bespoke programme of study to ensure you are able to complete your course during the remainder of the academic year.
How to get the ball rolling
If you know you want to apply – great! The way you apply to us will vary according to your circumstances. Here’s everything you need to know:
- If you are looking to transfer in to the University of Chester part way through an academic year of an undergraduate course, having already started the academic year at another university.
- If you are looking to transfer in to the University at the beginning of the 2nd, 3rd or 4th year of an undergraduate course - please apply through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS). If you wish to see if a transfer is possible before submitting your application to UCAS please email transfer@chester.ac.uk including a full transcript of your results so far and the module descriptors for all your modules on your current programme.
