Chemical Engineering Student Profile UK University

I chose to study Chemical Engineering here at Chester because the course is accredited by IChemE and this was a big selling point. Did you know we share this accreditation with just 60 institutions worldwide?

The university itself is very welcoming to international students and there are lots here in Chester, I have made lots of friends.

I like the course because it’s practical and the lecturers are very supportive. Staff have an extensive knowledge of the industry which is passed on to me and my classmates. The facilities at my campus (Thornton Science Park) are very professional, using them has helped me prepare for work after I graduate. On this course, I was able to do a work placement where I applied the skills I learnt in the classroom and in previous employment. The placement boosted my future prospects as it was very practical.
