I like the course because it’s practical and the lecturers are very supportive. Staff have an extensive knowledge of the industry which is passed on to me and my classmates. The facilities at my campus (Thornton Science Park) are very professional, using them has helped me prepare for work after I graduate. On this course, I was able to do a work placement where I applied the skills I learnt in the classroom and in previous employment. The placement boosted my future prospects as it was very practical.
Chester as a city is beautiful and quiet. It’s easy to get around- all the shops and attractions are all in one place and you can explore everywhere by foot. All accommodation areas are close to each other, so you’re always near to your friends. Chester is a great city to spend time with family, there are lots of parks and interesting places to visit.
The people here are very friendly and make international students feel at home.
