About the Event:

Jennifer Robinson, PhD candidate, Education and Children's Services, University of Chester.

Jennifer Robinson is a student with the Education and Children’s Services Faculty at the University of Chester where her PhD research explores the nature of gambling related harm (GRH). In this talk, Jennifer draws on her qualitative research to explore the phenomena of GRH for those (in)directly impacted, exploring the implications for professionals working in treatment, recovery spaces and beyond. She will be joined by professionals working to support those affected by GRH in Northwest England and Wales to provide insight into the challenges and opportunities available for those working in health, housing, education, law and human resources to better understand the socio-economic impact of GRH within their communities.
