About the Event

The conference will focus on some of the key challenges for the future of health and social care provision, and explore how traditional
approaches to higher education provision will need to adapt in order to meet need in these complex areas of work and service delivery.
There will be a range of keynote speakers, student and staff presentations, workshops, performances, and debates.

Topics will include:

  • Digital Health and the use of Virtual Reality
  • Workforce Planning
  • Health Humanities

The purpose of the conference is to reflect on how we can challenge ‘the more traditional and established approaches’ to health and
social care education and encourage the integration of digital health, virtual reality, artificial intelligence, population demographics, and
health humanities to enhance the curricular offering and student experience.

Two days of keynote presentations, student and staff presentations, workshops, performances, and debate.
Workshops on both days to include: Endnote, Literature Searches, Age Suit & VR Headset, Brightlife (Social Prescribing)
