About the Event

In this session, Paul will talk about kindness, failure, and academic citizenship. He will reflect upon the multiplicity of academic activity, and draw upon some philosophical and theatrical thinking to set out a personal view of the role of an academic. He will also talk about practice and research and intersections and separations between them.

Who is it for: Anyone who aspires to be a Professor is welcome to come along and benefit from Prof Johnson’s expertise.

What you will gain from attending: Paul will talk about the range of activity that might be part of academic leadership, and some ways in which the demands of contemporary Higher Education might be managed by both individual and institutions.
