Master of Public Health Profile

After deciding to take a break from a professional life in a busy, cosmopolitan city, I made the decision to re-enter education and move to a smaller and quieter location. This is why I chose Chester. The thought of studying abroad, thousands of miles from home made me slightly nervous before arrival. However, within a few weeks of studying here, these feelings were erased thanks to the memorable academic and social experiences I involved myself in.

I found my lectures extremely stimulating and the enthusiasm of the accomplished academics really impressed me. Lectures have also been delivered by established professionals from leading global health systems, which has inspired my peers and myself.

I am given every opportunity to improve my work because lecturers always provide engaging feedback and professional advice on how to improve. The University also has a fantastic careers department, which is very helpful in providing you with support for life in the professional world and how to become more productive.

The international experience also provided me with an opportunity to explore the rich culture of the ancient city of Chester and integrate with other overseas students from across the world. Studying at the University of Chester has proven to be one of the best decisions I have ever made.
