How long do they take?

Usually, a Foundation Degree will take two years to complete full time, and up to four or five years to complete part-time, and can be offered directly by the University, through our partner colleges of further education, or through particular arrangements with the employment sector. Once you have completed your foundation degree, you will be given the opportunity to "top up" to an appropriate honours degree by adding a further one year of study.

How employable am I?

Some foundation degrees are designed specifically for one particular profession, and these are usually delivered in the workplace between the university and the employer. Others are offered on a full-time or part-time basis by the University or by partner colleges of further education.
