If you have previously graduated with a 2:1 undergraduate degree in any subject, graduated with a 2:2 or above and have a Masters’ degree, or are currently studying any undergraduate degree in the UK, learning more about studying medicine at the University of Chester might be for you.
Studying the four-year Graduate Entry Medicine course at Chester Medical School is a wonderful opportunity, and at our events, you’ll be able to:
- Explore whether studying Medicine at Chester is right for you
- Learn more about how to apply and what to expect in the interview process
- Ask questions about the course and get to know some of our academic team
At our on-campus (in-person) Open Day on Saturday 10th June 2023 you’ll be able to learn about the MBChB medicine course in detail. You can meet the Dean of Chester Medical School, Professor Arpan Guha, and the Year One lead for the programme, Dr Michael Randles. It is also the ideal opportunity to get a real feel for our campus and student life at Chester, as well as:
- Gain guidance and information on application processes
- Discuss life at Chester Medical School
- Explore accommodation
- Find out more about student finance
- Discover all of the University of Chester’s facilities
Our online sessions on Wednesday 5th July (09:00 GMT+1) and Wednesday 12th July (17:00 GMT+1) will be facilitated by Judy McKimm, Professor of Medical Education, and Professor Lauren Fisher, Programme Lead for the MBChB course, and you will have the opportunity to:
- Take virtual tours of our skills labs
- Take virtual tours of our ward simulation suites
- Cover any unanswered questions you may have, about any element of the course
