About Joseph McArdle

Joe is a Registered Nurse and Registered Nurse Tutor with significant operational and strategic experience in Health and Social Care.  Currently working at the University of Chester as Director of Medical and Health Innovation & Transformation using his skills to drive economic development through collaboration & partnership working in health related programmes.  

Joe leads on the following programmes  for the University of Chester Digital Solutions  based in the Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin footprint; Health Matters working partnership with the Academic Health Science Network to support the validation of innovation in Cheshire and Warrington. The Office for Students Strategic Interventions in Health Education Disciplines CARIAD project and the Enterprise Board for the Health Education Co-operative.

He is board member of the following organisations:

He also works closely with Little London International to build opportunities for students to work in China.

On a personal note Joe is also a regular runner having completed over 26 Marathons including the 6 World Marathon Majors.
