Our Practice Placement Partnerships
The Faculty works with a number of health and social care organisations to support our students from theory to practice. Placement learning is a major component of professional programmes and the Faculty has well established systems in place to develop placement capacity and to monitor the quality of learning environments.
Our Academic Partners
The University awards a number of undergraduate and postgradute qualifications which are delivered in partnership with other organisations. These may be courses written by the University and authorised for delivery by other organisations, or independent courses developed by academic partner organisations, and validated by the University in line with it's Principles and Regulations.
The Faculty currently works with nine academic partners, based in the UK and overseas.
- Cheshire Approved Mental Health Professional Partnership, for the delivery of the PG Dip/MA Applied Mental Health Practice.
- Department of Health and Social Services, States of Jersey, for the delivery of FdSc Health and Social Care (Assistant Practitioner), Bachelor of Nursing (Adult, Children and Mental Health fields), Master of Nursing (Adult, Children and Mental Health fields), BSc Professional Practice (Level 6), MSc Professional Studies, Return to Practice Nursing.
- University College Isle of Man, for the delivery of FdSc Health and Society and BSc Public Health (Level 6 Top Up).
- Isle of Man Department of Health and Social Services Education and Training, for the delivery of Pre-Registration Nursing (Adult and Mental Health Fields), Return to Pratice Nursing, Specialist Community Public Health Nursing, Non-Medical Prescribing and stand-alone modules in learning and assessment.
- simplyendo (Altrincham), for the delivery of the MSc Endodontology.
We also have academic links with a number of other international organisations around the world.
