The process for applying for some Health and Social Care courses is a bit different from the rest of the University, so check our guide below to see the next steps.
Home/EU Students
For the Undergraduate courses Pre-Registration Nursing (all fields), BSc Midwifery, and BA Social Work, you will need to apply through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS). More information on applying through UCAS can be found on our Undergraduate How to Apply page.
For Degree Apprenticeship courses Assistant Practitioner Higher Apprenticeship (FdSc) or Nursing Associate Higher Apprenticeship (FdSc), you will need to apply via our online system AIMS. More information is available on our Degree Apprenticeship pages.
For all other University-delivered Undergraduate courses, you will need to contact Health and Social Care Admissions using the details below for an application pack
If you wish to undertake a University-delivered Postgraduate Taught course, you will need to apply to Health and Social Care Admissions through our online AIMS system.
If you wish to undertake a Postgraduate Research course, for example the D. Prof or a PhD, you will need to apply to The Graduate School through our online AIMS system. More information can be found on our Research Degrees pages.
If you wish to undertake one of the courses awarded by the University and delivered by our academic partner organisations, you will need to apply directly to the partner organisation. Please see our Partnership Working page for a full list of our partners
Applications for Mentorship and Non-Medical Prescribing can be made via CPD Apply. Non-Medical Prescribing applicants also need to complete the programme application form.
Applications for any of our other CPD modules should be made direct to the University. Please contact Health and Social Care Admissions for an application pack.
