The course in Public Health Nutrition at Chester was exactly what I was looking for and the University and city really caught my attention. The decision to study here was an easy one.

My first impression of Chester was that it’s a lovely city; not too big or too small, just the perfect size. The city has everything you need including shopping, restaurants, bars, pubs, nightlife, nature and lots of friendly people! I quickly got to know other international students here and settled in quickly.

I really like studying here because the class sizes are relatively small which means lectures are a lot more personal and you build a good relationship with your lecturers and peers. The quality of teaching is excellent also. Lecturers are knowledgeable and enthusiastic and are eager to share their wisdom with students.

The course has enabled me to develop various skills which will help me to prepare for the professional world. My future goal is to work in nutrition policies and development of healthier communities on a national or international level and the course has certainly aided me. It has also developed my research skills and broadened my understanding of the professional world.

If there are any international students thinking about studying in Chester, I would say go for it. You’ll make friends and contacts from all over the world and get a really good degree.
