The Department of Languages and Cultures offers part-time evening language courses in 12 languages at various levels at our Chester, Shrewsbury and Warrington sites.

How it works:

Languages for All is part of the Language Services Provision at the University of Chester. Courses run for 26 weeks in line with the university timetable with one 2-hour lesson every week. Classes take place at Exton Park, University Centre Shrewsbury and University Centre Warrington sites from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Classes are subject to minimum numbers so may not run if there is not sufficient interest.

The classes are made up of undergraduate and postgraduate University of Chester students, members of staff at the University and members of the public.

Cost:

Undergraduate and postgraduate students studying a degree programme pay £100.00 for the course. If you attend 80% or more of classes, the fee will be reimbursed. We cannot refund for any other reason after week 2 of the course.

If you are a second year student doing a work placement, please contact us.
