Incoming Mobilities
The Department of Languages and Cultures is pleased to facilitate the incoming mobility of students from our Partner universities wanting to complete an academic year studying at the University of Chester.
Students can study a wide variety of modules across many subject areas whilst at Chester. All our undergraduate level modules run for a full academic year and start in September. We would recommend students come for the full academic year if possible, as this offers wider choice of modules in which to create a suitable programme of study. However, a limited number of modules have been adapted for single-semester exchange students and are denoted on the course lists as A (Semester 1) or B (Semester 2) versions.
All modules are taught and assessed in English, with the exception of non-English language modules.
Further information about module content and assessment is available on the IES page.
The Department has agreements with the following universities:
- Belgium: Saint-Louis – Bruxelles
- France: Bordeaux Montaigne, Clermont Auvergne, IDRAC, Catholique de Lyon (UCLy) Lumière Lyon 2, Nantes
- Germany: Braunschweig, Duisburg-Essen, JGU Mainz, Magdeburg-Stendal, Reutlingen, Trier
- Portugal: Aveiro, Lisbon
