9TH DISTRICT
Marie Audemard

I love these moments
Which seem to be decisive
The ones we remember
Several years later
The moments
That didn’t seem to matter
A call while having a bath
A sad night in a bed
The colour of a lamp
The taste of tears
A cat on a fridge
A balcony where I should have spent more time
The morning sunlight in the bedroom
Calls that felt so frivolous
Cards in the bathroom
Discovering the first song
Of an artist
Who will help me through
One of the saddest periods of my life
And that night
I thought I only found a cool song
Critical moments of an existence
Why can’t we press pause?
Time passes
And I do not have enough time to realise
Will we see each other this year?
