There are so many reasons why International students love The University of Chester so we thought we'd put them all in one place.

We'll be updating this blog on a regular basis so keep an eye out for what we have to offer! Use #50ChesterReasons on social media to share what you love about us.

1. Historic City

As a city draped in more than 2,000 years of history, Chester is home to a number of iconic landmarks. Students can follow in the footsteps of Roman soldiers and explore the city's famous amphitheatre which was the largest in the UK holding up to 7,000 spectators!

2. Bordered by Beautiful North Wales

Chester sits right on the border with Wales which boasts some breath-taking natural attractions. Students are just a short journey away from brilliant beaches and thrilling mountain scenery. The International Centre organises trips to Snowdonia and students have the opportunity to climb Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales!

3. Fantastic Psychology Department (From Jordan Olsen- Psychology student)

"My favourite part about studying in Chester is definitely the incredible members of staff! All of the professors in the Psychology department are excellent! I appreciate the personal attention I can access at any time, especially from my Personal Academic Tutor or dissertation supervisor. They are incredibly kind, funny and really know their stuff! They’ve really made the difference for me and have made my time in Chester incredibly worthwhile."
