Hi everyone! It’s Hayley here to let you know that there is only one week left to book for this year’s Annual Reunion. Have you booked your place yet?
The event will take place on the University’s Parkgate Road Campus, running from Friday, September 7 until Sunday, September 9, with full bed and breakfast available. This event is once again set to be an exciting opportunity to return to your place of study and meet up with old friends for a weekend of reminiscing and reconnection.
You will be able to check in from 2pm onwards on the Friday afternoon, then enjoy full access to the Chester Students’ Union bar throughout the evening. If you’re a 1968 leaver, there is also a mini reunion for your year group on Friday night.
Don’t forget the Alumni Association’s AGM will be taking place on the Saturday. All alumni are welcome to attend, you don’t have to be attending other Reunion events to join us. If you have a question or topic you would like to put to the Alumni Committee – let us know!
We will also be hosting our Tree Dedication Service at 9.45am on Sunday (September 9) as part of our World War One Centenary commemorations. We have planted a variety of trees across our campuses as memorials to our 77 alumni, who were killed during the First World War.
Online booking is still available here. Or if you would prefer to pay by cheque, you will also have received a paper booking form with your copy of The Cestrian. Please let us know if you did not receive your copy.
Please remember that booking is essential and the closing date is Friday, August 24 – which is when we will be allocating rooms, therefore we cannot accept any late bookings.
