Autumn is a great time to get out and explore Chester. Wrap up and make the most of the sunny days before winter sets in.

Take a stroll around the city centre, Chester has lots of picture postcard views. Whether it’s spotting the iconic British red telephone boxes, the famous Eastgate Clock or taking advantage of the amazing independent shops and restaurants in the city.

Taking a snap of the Eastgate clock is a must in Chester.

Godstall Lane hosts a number of independent businesses, whether you want to grab a bite to eat or a spot of shopping.

A short walk from the heart of the city centre is the River Dee, the ‘Groves’ as it’s known on the bank of the river is host to a bandstand and a number of cafes and restaurants; making it an ideal place to take in the views.

Meanwhile, Grosvenor Park allows you to get away from it all, you can take in nature and view historic ruins.

There’s been some typical British weather recently, a mixture of sunshine and showers. However it has made for some lovely rainbows and sunsets over our Parkgate Road Campus.

Performing Arts over on our Kingsway Campus have been making the most of the sunny weather.

Nothing signifies autumn more than trees shedding their golden leaves.
