A pop-up space in the Forum Shopping Centre was filled with eye-catching work from first year students studying Fine Art, Graphic Design, Fashion Design, Photography, Interior Design, Fashion Marketing and Communication, and Product Design.

This exhibition marked the start of a run of exhibitions at this new CASC (Contemporary Art Space Chester) pop-up space which will be showing work from students and artists over the next few months.

The exhibition encapsulated the huge range of creative diversity in the Department of Art and Design, with clothing, lighting designs, sculpture, film and advertising being shown alongside photography, sculpture and painting.

Chris Millward from the Department of Art and Design said: “We’re really pleased to be able to showcase the work of our students in the city centre, and we’re grateful to The Forum Shopping Centre for the opportunity to create a bespoke exhibition space. We look forward to welcoming the public at future exhibitions.”
