If you’re still thinking through your options for September or perhaps you’ve already got your offer in place but would like the chance to see the University for yourself, then book onto one of our Clearing Campus Tours. This is the perfect opportunity to explore the different sites, take a look around our student accommodation and chat to our friendly team of student ambassadors – get a real feel for student life at the University of Chester.

Our campus tours are taking place from Tuesday 10th August – Friday 20th August.

Why go on a campus tour?

See it for yourself

We’re so excited that we can finally welcome visitors onto our campuses again and show you everything the University of Chester has to offer. Our helpful student tour guides will show you around our residential campuses in Chester, Warrington and Shrewsbury, pointing out general student facilities such as the library, sports and leisure facilities and the Students’ Union.

Meet with an academic

On your tour, you’ll also have the opportunity to meet with an academic tutor from the department. Think of any extra questions you may want to ask about your chosen course and get them answered on the day.

Chat to our students

Campus tours are always the perfect opportunity to chat to our current students and find out everything you need to know about student life. Our student ambassadors will be leading the tours and are always more than happy to answer all of your questions. Tour groups will be kept small (a max. of 12 people) making your experience truly personal and giving you plenty of opportunity to chat.

Take a look at accommodation

If you’re interested in living in student accommodation, then you have the opportunity to view some of the options we have available as part of your tour. Our ambassadors will talk you through the different types of accommodation we have and can share their own personal experiences of living in student accommodation in their first year.

Make a day of it

You’ve had your tour, now what? Why not head into the town and make the most of what Chester, Warrington and Shrewsbury have to offer. With lots of restaurants, cafés and shops in each location, there’s plenty for you to explore!

Our Ambassadors

We asked our student ambassadors what they enjoy most about delivering Campus Tours.

Georgia: “I enjoy learning about the courses the visitors are interested in and talking to them about their future ambitions and how the University can work with them to make it all possible.”

Imogen: “What I enjoy most about being a tour guide is seeing the enthusiasm from prospective students when they finally get a feel for the University! It’s beneficial for applicants to look round so they get a full view of what university life is like at Chester – both on campus and in the city.”

Bethany: “I like meeting visitors and helping put prospective students and their families at ease. Being a student ambassador is a very rewarding role.”
