Dance Through the Decades will take place at Off the Wall in Chester city centre on Sunday, March 8, in aid of Alder Hey Children’s Charity. Tickets are only £8 and are available online in advance, or on the door. The dance floor opens at 7.30pm for a night of toe-tapping fun.

The Alder Hey Diabetes Department, where all the money raised will go, provides care for over 420 children and young people. It is the largest paediatric diabetes service in the North West and cares for any form of diabetes until a young person’s 19th birthday. It aims to educate and support patients and their families in the management of their diabetes. To learn more visit https://alderhey.nhs.uk/services/diabetes.

The evening has been organised by QPC Events, a group of four Events Management students. Rebecca Howell of QPC Events, said: “Since we have just entered a new decade, we thought what better way to celebrate the past decades from the 1970s through to the 2020s by singing and dancing the night away with friends and family in aid of an amazing charity! We will have a live band, singer and a DJ from 7.30pm till 2am.”

Adam Dixon, Community Fundraiser at Alder Hey, said: “We are very excited for the Dance Through the Decades event on Sunday, March 8 at Off the Wall in Chester. Alder Hey Children's Charity raises vital funds to help make Alder Hey Children's Hospital a truly world-class, patient-friendly hospital for the 330,000 patients and families we care for every year.”
