Hi folks, my name is Elliott and I am going into my third year here at the University of Chester, studying Physics.
I thought that I would share with you my experience of living in University accommodation throughout my first year.
When choosing my accommodation, I decided to stay in a shared house on Parkgate Road with four other students. I personally felt like this was the best option for me as the shared communal kitchen space meant that I was able to make friends very quickly. Not only that, they actually went on to become some of my closest friends! The space was great and my bedroom was a really good size.
I decided to opt for self-catered accommodation. Being self-catered meant that cooking with my housemates became a regular occurrence which helped us all bond with one another, and it made the meals cheaper!
All in all, I would highly recommend University accommodation to prospective students, especially because of its great location being so close to campus. It's also reassuring to know that the Residential Living team are there if you need anything.
So, what are you waiting for? Get applying and good luck in all your future endeavours!
